Gavin was cleaning up his room to go to bed the other night and he says, "My legs need a charge. They are all out of batteries." hahahaha
This weekend we were going to complete the floor work. We went from carpet to a ceramic tile. All of the entryway, hallway, living room, and dining room were done previously. Only thing that remained the kitchen..... We started removing all items and the tile. Then the little surprises started. The previous owners had repaired a hole in the corner of the garage and stuck paint stirrer sticks and pieces of sheet rock inside to fill it. The sink or something near that plumbing had been leaking causing all the counter top and cabinets between the sink and the refrigerator to be rotten. Like falls to pieces in your hand rotten! So we ended up deciding that we are going to redo all the bottom cabinets with wood and make some modifications since the corner was not even being used. We will also be replacing the counter top with 2x12's and then tile over that. No particle board!!!!! We did successfully get all the tile down and grout completed. Now it's on to carpentry!

THE FAMILY - LA FAMILIA (Bilingual books for children)THE FAMILY - LA FAMILIA by Suzy Liebermann
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Our kids all speak both English and Spanish. The younger two ages 8 and 5 truly enjoyed this book. They took turns reading the English and Spanish throughout the book. The THE FAMILY--LA FAMILIA, is a wonderful way to teach children the Spanish words for different family members, ie mother, father, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, etc. The book includes cute illustrations and is another great book by children's author, Suzie Lieberman. We like this!

The kids simply love these Hugo the Happy Starfish books. "One Step at a Time Happiness Begins One Step at a Time" is a great children's book that helps teach commitment. All of the different underwater world and ocean creatures, really help the children stay focused and learn about their feelings. Here is a link on Amazon for more information:

Sooo true!

1. Have a vision.
You can't achieve something if you don't know what it is! Maybe you want to start thinking more positively. The vision will give you something to focus on and writing it down will help you stay on track.

2. Give yourself permission to be different...
from how you've been in the past, and from what you think is expected of you. Answer the call from within to connect to what's true for you.

3. Begin where you are, with what you have.
When you start a workout, a trainer will tell you, "If you can't touch your toes, reach for your knees. If you can't reach your knees, go for your hips." So do what you can. And then...

4. Push.
When your mind says, "No!" you say, "Yes." (No, you can't think positively about that plane delay? Yes—two hours to yourself!—yes, you can.)

5. Lighten up your enlightenment.
Transformation doesn't have to be deep, dark, and mysterious. If you screw up, fine—laugh at yourself, learn, and move on.

I really enjoyed this new product of whole leaves. I liked adding them to pastas, salads, and smoothies. There really is no taste. I noticed that I felt more energetic instead of drowsy. I like to try to eat as healthy as I can. I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com.
