Over the last few days we have learned alot about Ebay and what to do and not to do. Ebay has really taken large leaps over the last months and are purging people left and right. We were affected as were thousands of others. Things we have learned. Ebay is changing and not always for the better for the smaller sellers. If they restrict your account, they are still expecting you to improve your ratings, but you are limited and can't sell. Seems like these regulations weren't all thought through. On the bright side, there are thousands of people looking for alternatives to ebay.com and half.com. So farewell ebay and half.com, and all of your fees...

I have found ecrater.com. Very neat website and estore possibilities are endless. We will be trying that one out first. Stay tuned for a link to our new eStore!

Fabulous Read! Spirit of Lost Angels by Lisa Perrat

Spirit of Lost AngelsSpirit of Lost Angels by Liza Perrat
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This was definitely a book that will leave you swirling with emotions. This story takes you back in time with the stories character Victoire Charpentier. During the revolutionary era of France, Victoire Charpentier rises from her level of poverty and becomes a woman of means. The story has very interesting plot twists and definitely promotes a range of emotions from fear, sadness, happiness. I would definitely recommend the book as a suspenseful and historical tale of a women in this period. Liza Perrat weaves a great story and if you are into historical fiction this a book just for you!

Love the Deals show. Catching up on my recordings and saw on one episode to use baking soda to kill weeds in sidewalk. cracks. Also, spray vinegar directly on weeds to kill them.
Another neat eco friendly idea was to use epson salt to revitalize brown lawn and touse match sticks sulphur side down in dirt around pepper or tomato plants.
Old eggshells in water and spray on roses.
Crushed garlic in water and spray on dying flowering plants.
Cayenne pepper, tabasco, warm water and spray on plants to deter squirrels.

After all the remodeling, we had garage cleaning, getting the kitchen back in order, refurbish projects, fix it up projects all in the garage awaiting us. On was a wood dresser drawers for the girls that was missing a shelf and a few knobs.
Using the leftover wood and recycled wood, Johan made the missing bottom shelf. We purchased the knobs ready from Lowe's for like $2 a two pack. Using a light paint as a primer and then a darker color from the recycle bin the project turned out great and the girls have a new place to store their clothes.

The replacement came in this week and Technician Johan went to work!It was definitely a success!!!
Laptop is now like new!

So no one is perfect.....  One night after checking Mr Man's call work, I tried to shut my laptop with a pen in the middle ......  Yeah, fail for mom. Resulting in the laptop looking like this......  So we ordered the replacement screen from ebay for $54 with shipping included.
